The ROAR App (Youth Edition) gives teens a calm, simple playbook for real-life encounters with law enforcement. With one tap, it displays a clear rights card (“I am practicing my right to remain silent and would like a parent or attorney present”), plus de-escalation tips that focus on safety, respect, and compliance with lawful instructions. The app also offers quick how-tos—when to provide ID, when to ask if you’re free to leave, and how to request a parent or lawyer—written in plain language.

ROAR helps families stay connected in the moment. If enabled, it can text a trusted contact that the youth is in a police interaction, log time and location, and store notes or photos for later. Afterward, guided checklists help document what happened and connect the family to support resources. Simple, discreet, and empowering, ROAR helps young people Read. Organize. Act.
